SIMBA II Final Workshop, Brussels, 26 March 2010

SIMBA II aims to increase RTD cooperation between the EU and its international cooperation partners: Brazil, China, India, Russia and South Africa. In order to realise this objective, SIMBA II has organised a number of expert working group meetings and workshops in the five countries since 2008 in the fields of ITS and Infrastructure (and building on findings the of the first SIMBA project which run from 2006 to 2008).

The project will conclude its activities at the end of April 2010 and would like to present its results to the SIMBA community. For this purpose a final workshop will be organised in Brussels, on 26 March.

The final workshop has as objectives to:

• Present and validate the SIMBA II project results to European and International stakeholders.
• Discuss and consolidate research priorities between EU – SIMBA II countries.
• Overview of best practices in the areas of ITS and Infrastructure and discussion about potential deployment.

The workshop will also provide an opportunity for stakeholders to network. An agenda and invitation will be sent out soon so please save the date!
