Beijing Airport Vehicle Management Service resumes work

Any Chinese traveler passing the Terminal Building 3 of the said Airport and foreign visitor just getting off the plane can immediately enjoy the vehicle management service of BTMB from this day. The said vehicle management service station established by BTMB in the Terminal 3 can offer the service of handling the temporary vehicle driving permit for those foreigners who temporarily enter the Chinese territory within 3 months and make foreigners receive the temporary driving license even without stepping outside the airport so as to make them enjoy the high-efficient service of BTMB. Meanwhile, the domestic travelers passing the said Airport, the masses waiting to meet and send off travelers, staff members of the said Building as well as taxi drivers can also hold Beijing driving license to handle the business such as changing the driving license due to its expiration and presenting the physical condition certificate in the said Station.


With the passenger flow volume of around 200,000 passing it on a daily basis, the said Airport is the 1st window that makes the domestic and international travelers better understand Beijing. During the period of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, BTMB had conducted the door-to-door service through such measures as “one-stop service”, “mobile vehicle management office”, etc., obtaining the unanimous acclaim from the international friends and domestic and international visitors. Based on this and in order to further improve service quality, BTMB united the said Station additionally established by the Sub-Bureau of Public Security of the said Airport to formally resume work on March 6, 2009, in accordance with the strategic thinking of “scientific management, rigorous law enforcement and high-efficient service” centering on the working objective of “safe Beijing traffic and smiling Beijing traffic police”. Therefore, the domestic and international visitors passing the said Airport and the surrounding masses can handle the driving license near their living places.


The leaders from all departments attached high importance to and relevant units gave strong support to the preparation and establishment of the said Station. The management unit of the said Terminal 3 made room for handling official business in the areas with distinct geographical location and that are convenient to the travel of the masses, and the leaders from the Sub-Bureau of Public Security of the said Airport performed on-the-spot official business to resolve the issue concerning the office equipment of the said Station and arranged the police to provide the masses with hospitable service. BTMB organized the professional training and printed such materials as procedure instructions, conduction guidelines, etc. in the earlier stage and the relevant surrounding units also made every endeavor to provide the masses with various kinds of fast, convenient and considerate service during the implementation of this service for the convenience of the people. Therefore, thanks to the endeavors of all parties, the said Station will formally provide service for the public on March 6, 2009.
