EU and Indian experts to meet in New Delhi

Jointly organised by ERTICO – ITS Europe and the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), the India National Event, to be held from 21-22 November, is a unique opportunity for key stakeholders from Europe and India to meet and share information.

Guests to the India National Event will include members of the government, industry, universities and research organisations.

Taking place in the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi, the event will focus on public transport and tolling, traffic information and management, accident prevention and emergency response, the environment, training and awareness and pedestrian safety. The aim will be to create joint EU-India working groups, project proposals and joint road transport research roadmaps.

Progress on the project proposals that were identified in the Priority Workshop of November 2006 will also be presented.
