Sponsored road traffic signs now available in Limpopo and KZN

Creation date: 05 June 2009

Now also available in Limpopo Province and KwaZulu Natal, ADreach's Sponsored Road Traffic Signs are set to save even more lives on South Africa's roads.

Forming part of SAMOAC Class 4a - Sponsored Road Traffic Projects - Sponsored Road Traffic Signs is an initiative between the Department of Transport and ADreach in association with Arrive Alive. This public private partnership delivers road safety and environmental messages to commuting audiences; simultaneously offering effective commercial advertising opportunity on previously inaccessible locations on provincial roads. Two-thirds of the surface area of the 2000mm x 2250mm sign carries community messages and one third of the sign may be used for displaying the sponsor's logo. The sponsor's brand presence may be maximised by utilising corporate colours throughout the entire surface of the sign.

Already available in the Eastern and Northern Cape, ADreach has now completed installation of its first Sponsored Road Traffic Signs on premium sites in Limpopo Province.

The installation of 50 Sponsored Road Traffic Signs in rural school locations throughout KZN is also in progress. This exciting initiative forms part of a co-ordinated project in partnership with the Department of Transport; highlighting the Department's scholar patrol system.

ADreach's latest installations in Limpopo and KZN bring the total number of Sponsored Road Traffic Signs available nationally to more than 200.
